Man V Fries - Review
Cali Burritos
This week was the most celebrated Mexican holiday for people who do not live in Mexico, Cinco de Mayo. Unless you’re from the Puebla region of Mexico then you have every right to be celebrating...but if you’re not it’s a great excuse for some Mexican food.
A month ago or so when Edmonton was experiencing pre-spring which is before the second winter, I was able to try Man V Fries’ burritos. These things were enormous, immaculate and the closest thing to Americanized eats to ever come to town.
Started with the OMG Cookies because I’m a grown-up and can eat dessert whenever I want. These were some delicious deep fried oreos, however the menu picture made it seem like it was going to be super thicccc and the ones we got could barely twerk.
I had ordered the SoCal burrito which had a bunch of meat, flamin hot cheetos, straight cut fries, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, secret sauce all wrapped in a flour tortilla. All this included a side of queso for dipping. Just a perfect gluttonous meal. Surprisingly with this mish mash of ingredients, it kinda worked out. It was enormous and had to be finished in two sittings. But I was content both times.
Man V Fries can only be ordered through Uber Eats so if you want to try it out you need the app. Next time I try Man V Fries i’ll probably get the crunchwraps or whatever you call them. They look good as well. Overall pretty happy that more “americanized” food is coming to town, even though this is a Cali burrito, which in all honesty is the best kind of burrito.
